One of the best fro yo places I have been to. The decor is nice, standard Orange leaf style. This location is always exceptionally clean. There are a wide variety of flavors to chose from, many toppings that are always filled properly and fruit (my favorite topping) that is fresh and usually seasonally ripe. The employees are friendly and quickly address any issues that may arise. The one down side is that this location does not allow you to get your own samples. I'll admit, I like to try a variety of flavors before I settle on one and feel a little stifled that I have to have someone administer samples to me. But their staff is gracious and will give me as many dollops as I ask for without a fuss or attitude. My go to treats are 1) Original FroYo with strawberries, pineapple and kiwi or 2)Coconut FroYo with toasted coconut, pecans, white chocolate chips and a few waffle cone pieces.

This is a great place to find out what FroYo you want to try. The staff will let you try as many as you like before you choose your tub size, add as much as you like, add your toppings, and then charge you by tare weight. Many flavors; I enjoy the orange fat free with the sugar and fat free vanilla, the fat free chocolate, peanut butter jar, and fat free hazelnut are also good. Good rewards program that gives you 1 point per dollar and once you have 10 points (ie you spent $10), then you get a dollar off. The location is next to the coffeesmith's on the corner. A must try if you haven't had frozen yogurt before.

Short Version: Probably one of the best Orange Leaf locations I've been to. Employees are efficient, the store is clean, the froyo tastes amazing, and the location is pretty and modern. I'd love to see a bit of outdoor seating (other Orange Leafs occasionally have Adirondack chairs?), but otherwise, I have no complaints. Long Version: I love frozen yogurt. Like, a lot. Orange Leaf isn't usually my favorite chain, but they have this "coffee" flavor froyo that is literally to die for. Other chains have "Espresso" or "Cappuccino", but you can't beat the coffee one here. Like, at all. Nice, neat new location. Looks like it actually is recently built. Single-person men and women's bathroom at the back of the store. Part of a strip mall with other locations nearby such as Coffeesmiths. No exterior seating. Interior seating includes the Orange Leaf tables and chairs (they're like regular tables and chairs only really close to the ground?) as well as long, 3-4 person couches. Decent amount of seating that should handle a lot of people. Parking lot is kinda a mess, but that's part of the fun of being in Cedar Rapids. They're also doing construction on part of the parking lot, so that doesn't help. It's not insanely hard to get into, but it could be easier. Lots of spaces, though, so unless it's super busy, you shouldn't have any issue parking. I've been to a lot of places, and this Orange Leaf is surprisingly great. The employees were very efficient, and they didn't hover. Both times when I came in, they came out from behind the counter, offered me sample cups, and after I declined, went back about their business until I was ready to pay. They didn't stand at the register and make me feel hurried or rushed to finish what I was doing (I hate that). The yogurt itself was great. Very smooth and very creamy. The machines are working really well and dispensing very well, and it shows in the taste. The frozen yogurt machines worked properly and easily, and the toppings bar was clean and well-stocked. Very little inter-mingling of the different types of toppings, and nothing I put on my froyo was stale or stiff feeling. Even the brownie bites I put on were soft and chewy - it was impressive. Definitely a great Orange Leaf location. One of the better Orange Leafs I've ever gone to, actually.

Could go here on a daily basis and literally PIG out! The frozen yogurt is awesome, can't speak for the price, because I don't typically buy yogurt. What I do know is that I could eat this stuff until It made me sick, if possible. Highly recommended.

My first experience at a FroYo shop was at this location. So much fun! My little cousins had to tell me what to do upon entering the store, as I wasn't sure of the process. :) That being said, this is a very kid-friendly place. Wide variety of yogurt and so, so many toppings. If you're a health nut (I am not:) you can still grab a snack here guilt free. Eat your yogurt here or get some to go; the atmosphere is nice, but can get crowded, busy and noisy at times.

I really liked this place. It was worth a bike ride across town to check them out. The frozen yogurt is healthier than the frozen custard at a restaurant nearby. There are many flavors - all of them smooth, creamy, ultra-delicious, and fairly low in fat. As far as the toppings go, holy smokes! You will find a ton of them... Candies, nuts, fresh fruit, syrups, sprinkles, you name it. The only less than perfect impression I had was with the employee I dealt with. She was helpful but the semi-lethargic, ho-hum demeanor was transparent and oddly clashed with the otherwise upbeat, vibrant atmosphere and the beautiful topping offerings. I also wished there was nutrition information posted. Nothing was marked as "low calorie" or "sugar free" so I assumed it was not. As lovely as everything looked and tasted, more than four or five ounces could adversely affect diabetic people or might put an ADHD kid into a low earth orbit. Moderation is the key. One piece of advice. The yogurt calories vary by flavor from mainly the low 40s to around 52 calories per ounce. If you're counting calories, guess at 50 calories per ounce and just use fresh fruit toppings or a few nuts.. Then get a receipt - it tells you the ounces purchased. Orange Leaf has the best frozen yogurt I can ever remember. Like I told a friend today, this place is to frozen yogurt what "Willy Wonka" was to chocolate (in the movie). Orange Leaf is going to be popular with all kids from 1 to 100+ years of age. I can't wait to go back.

Great selection and a fun place to 'cool down' from a hot day!

I found the frozen yogurt shops in california to have it down a little better but where not in california, its iowa and this is a great place beats out dairy queen and other desert esq. places.

If you enjoy yogurt and a wide assortment of toppings at decent prices this is the place for you. Might give Coldstone some competition in this area.
